Is there anything better than gardening? Especially for stress.

So many of my friends just don't get it. You're planting stuff again?

But I love getting my hands in the dirt.

Black fingers, grimy clothes, bruised knees, muddy face, and a gorgeous yard.

First year in a new house, so it isn't perfect.

But now I have to have flowers everywhere.

Back yard, front yard, side yard, front steps, window boxes.

I never liked roses, but I have six rosebushes already.

And azaleas, daylilies, irises, coleus, whatever.

Anything that's beautiful and lives in dirt.

I promise to use a decent camera next year...
